Jasmine Pearl tea is produced by selecting freshly harvested green tea, scenting with fragrant Jasmine blossoms, and then hand rolling into the shape of pearls.
The Jasmine flowers are harvested early in the morning, while still closed, and stored in a cool, dry place until evening, then layered with the dried green tea. On warm summer nights, the jasmine blossoms open and transfer their intoxicating scent to the tea. This process is repeated again and again until the perfect, delicate balance of jasmine and tea is reached.
Our Jasmine Pearl tea uses only the tender top two leaves and a bud and is scented with real jasmine petals.
